Sam supports businesses with on-site experts in New York, California & Texas, and offers remote coverage across the United States

How quickly will I receive candidate matches and make a hire?

After submitting your request, you’ll receive AI-powered match reports within 3 business days, showing the best-fit experts for your role. Once you’ve reviewed the options, we arrange a meet-and-greet with your preferred expert(s). After that, Sam handles compliance and onboarding, ensuring your expert is placed and ready to begin within 5 business days.

What types of roles does Sam provide?

Sales: Includes Account Executives and SDRs responsible for building pipeline, closing new business, and driving revenue growth.
Operations:
Supports internal structure and execution through project coordination, vendor management, and operational workflows that keep teams running efficiently.
Admin: Includes Administrative Assistants, Executive Assistants, and Receptionists providing office support, executive coordination, and front-desk coverage.
Client Success: Ensures strong client relationships through onboarding, communication, account support, and ongoing client experience management.
Custom-Fit Roles: Workforce planning and placement for unique roles or team structures that fall outside of Sam’s core role categories, tailored to a company’s specific stage and team requirements.

What happens if Sam doesn’t place my expert in five business days?

If Sam doesn’t place someone within five business days of your selected matches, you’ll receive a tiered discount on your first month's rate for your initial term:
5% on a 3-month term
7.5% on a 6-month term
10% on a 12-month term

Is there a minimum contract length when engaging with Sam?

Yes, the minimum contract length is 3 months.

What payment methods are accepted, and how are payments processed?

We issue invoices that can be paid securely via ACH or credit card and provide reasonable accommodations for a client’s preferred payment method within those options.

Are Sam’s services available to individuals under 18?

No, Sam’s services are not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not hire professionals under the age of 18.

Are Sam Experts based in the US or Offshore?

All Sam Experts are based in the domestic United States.

How quickly can I onboard a Sam Expert?

Sam Experts are typically placed within 5 business days of selection, sometimes sooner.

Are Sam Experts experienced in specific industries? Are they startup experienced?

Sam Experts come with diverse tech-industry backgrounds and have a minimum of 2-5 years of startup experience. They're used to tight deadlines, sense of urgency and shifting priorities.

Does Sam provide ongoing support after placement?

Absolutely. Sam remains engaged throughout the contract period to facilitate communication, address any concerns, and ensure continued satisfaction with the expert’s performance. We conduct monthly 1:1s with placed Sams to touch base,  monthly client check-ins for contracts lasting 3-6 months, and quarterly check-ins for longer term contracts.

Can Sam scale with my business as our needs grow?

Yes, Sam is designed to scale with your business. Whether you're looking to scale your team or expand tiered coverage, our superpower is adjusting to align with your company’s growth.

Can I add responsibilities to an existing Sam Expert's scope of work?

Sam can expand minimal responsibilities of existing roles as long as the tasks are within the agreed upon scope of the role. This allows us to ensure that our expert workforce remains within compliance.

What happens if I need to replace my Sam Expert?

With Sam, you subscribe to a role, not a specific Expert. If you need to replace your Sam expert, we will work with you to understand your concerns and, when appropriate, provide options for replacement within 1-2 weeks allowing for a better-suited expert to pick up, where the previous expert left off.
